Warranty conditions
Micro4tro BV is the distributor of Mia Dynamics Inc. Micro4tro acts solely as a representative of Mia Dynamics Inc. Micro4tro BV assumes no responsibility for the warranty on products from Mia Dynamics Inc.
To qualify for the warranty on the unit and/or the individual battery, the owner must be registered and logged into our system. To register, please visit www.micro4tro.be. If the unit and/or individual battery is purchased online or customized, together or separately, the unit information, including the serial number, will be automatically entered. The buyer has the option to change the owner’s name free of charge within five days after placing the order. The new owner, both of the unit and the battery, must also be registered as a customer in our system, even if they do not intend to purchase from us. If the unit and/or individual battery is purchased from an authorized reseller and the unit is picked up at the reseller’s location, the buyer must register in our system before the purchase at www.micro4tro.be. Once Micro4tro has shipped the unit, the information of the unit and/or individual battery, including the serial number, will be automatically entered. If a unit and/or an individual battery is purchased as a guest and the guest wishes to remain anonymous, then the unit in its entirety and/or the individual battery will not be covered under warranty from the moment of sale. The warranty is only valid if it is correctly registered, and the owner grants Micro4tro BV the rights to monitor the usage history of the unit and/or individual battery. If the owner disables the usage history, the warranty on the unit and/or individual battery will be void from the moment of purchase. Once the unit has been registered by Micro4tro BV after shipment, the customer should receive an email confirming the registration directly from us, Micro4tro, or from Mia Dynamics.
Warranty Conditions:
Non-electronic Components:
The warranty is valid for a period of 24 months from the purchase date by the end user or up to 24,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Electronic Components:
The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months from the purchase date by the end user or up to 12,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
Mia Smart Battery:
The warranty is only valid if stored and maintained correctly.
35ah 60v series: 12 months
25ah 60v series: 12 months
Exclusions from Warranty:
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (tires, grips, brake parts, etc.), external damage from collisions, misuse, extreme off-road conditions, water damage, negligent maintenance, or exposure to extreme weather conditions. Prolonged exposure to elements, such as rain, snow, extreme heat, or saltwater environments without protection, will immediately void the warranty. Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality are not covered under warranty. Competitive extreme sports, racing, and abuse of the unit will fully cancel the warranty.
Repair of Defective Parts Under Warranty:
If the unit is still under warranty and the usage history is clean, all warranty claims must be submitted by the owner or an authorized service center to Micro4tro BV via www.micro4tro.be, supported by photos and/or video clearly showing the issue. Micro4tro will forward all information to Mia Dynamics Inc. Only after approval from Mia Dynamics Inc. will the distributor, Micro4tro, send the part to the approved service center or directly to the owner.
Transfer of Warranty:
A transfer of ownership of the unit and/or battery is only possible if the warranty is still valid. The warranty is only valid for one owner at a time.
Transfer fee for unit ownership: 50 EUR
Transfer fee for battery ownership: 20 EUR
Parts and Accessories:
Except for batteries, parts and accessories purchased via the Micro4tro website or its authorized distributors come with a warranty of 45 days from the purchase date. All units, batteries, and parts sold by Micro4tro are new unless otherwise stated at purchase and confirmed in writing on the invoice.
This warranty policy does not affect your legal rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. We strive to handle warranty claims quickly and efficiently and provide you with the best possible support.
